Protest intensified after Chandrabhan Singh’s ticket was canceled
Regarding the assembly elections in Rajasthan, bjp has released its second list and congress has released its
first list. Talking about bjp, there are 16 candidates from Mewar in the list of 83 candidates, out of which one is
also a woman. Two surprising decisions emerged in the list. The biggest shocking decision of bjp has been that
of Chittorgarh assembly seat, the former capital of Mewar. Here, the ticket of BJP’s two-time MLA
Chandrabhan Singh has been cut off and given to Narpat Singh Rajvi. After this, voices of protest have started
becoming louder in Chittorgarh. The second shocking decision is the decision to give ticket to Vishwaraj Singh
Mewar of Mewar royal family from Nathdwara.
MLA’s ticket canceled twice in a row
The decision to create a stir in Mewar in the bjp list is to cancel the ticket of Chandrabhan Singh from
Chittorgarh assembly seat and give the ticket to Narpat Singh Rajvi. Chandrabhan Singh has been winning the
elections from Chittorgarh assembly for the last two consecutive elections. In such a situation, protest against
the cancellation of his ticket has also started. However, the one who got the ticket i.e. Narpat Singh Rajvi has
also been mla from here twice.
All repeat contenders except three
Talking about the candidates declared on 16 seats of bharatiya janata party, there is change in only three seats.
Narpat Singh from Chittorgarh, Vishwaraj Singh from Nathdwara and Tarachand Jain from udaipur city. Apart
from this, there are only candidates who had contested the previous elections on all the seats. In this, one
woman has been given to Deepti Maheshwari from Rajsamand seat who is currently MLA. Talking about these
three main seats, Nathdwara and Chittorgarh are Rajput dominated seats from where only Rajput candidates
were declared. Whereas udaipur city is a Jain dominated seat. Only Jain candidates have been given a chance to
attract Jain votes. udaipur city seat is also considered important because here assam Governor Gulabchand
Kataria, a veteran bjp leader, was mla for four consecutive terms.
