In opposition to his detention, supporters of N chandrababu naidu, the former chief minister of andhra pradesh and leader of the tdp, planned for a special demonstration in the hyderabad Metro trains between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Wearing black shirts and T-shirts, tdp supporters staged a unique protest at the miyapur to LB nagar metro.

After a period of unrest at the metro station, police and security staff declared that those wearing black shirts and t-shirts would not be permitted to board the train. The police temporarily shuttered the miyapur metro station due to technical difficulties. Agitators put more and more pressure on the police to let them ride the metro line as they continued their demonstration.

The ap mla undavalli Sridevi visited the miyapur metro station when the passengers were being held back and showed support for the demonstrators, who were purportedly IT workers. After the police stopped them from accessing the metro station, a number of agitators in black shirts at LB nagar hurried to the D-Mart shop nearby, changed into their costumes, and joined in the demonstration.
For a few weeks now, Naidu's fans have been peacefully protesting his detention all throughout the city. chandrababu naidu has also received the backing of a number of independent MLAs. To prevent issues with law and order, the police in Madhura nagar moved the protestors to a neighboring police station.

Furthermore, a passenger who objected to the protesters raising slogans on board the metro rail, said, “Why are you protesting here? I also belong to Vijayawada. If you want to protest, do it there. There is a judicial process going on. You don’t need to protest here.”
