Will the political dominance of Yadavs in Bihar increase further?
After the release of caste based census report (Bihar Caste survey Report), all the political parties have started
making a new strategy in Bihar. In this survey it has been said that the Yadav community included in the OBC
group is 14.27 percent of the total population of the state. State deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav also
belongs to this community. This community is the largest in terms of population in the state. The Yadav
community has had considerable influence in the politics of bihar since the Lalu government. RJD has been at
the center of power in bihar for many years with the M-Y equation. According to the saying as per the number,
so is the share, the political influence of Yadavs will definitely increase in Bihar.
RJD has been representing
On Monday, after the report of caste-based census, deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav had said that this is a
commendable step of the bihar government, whose share will be as per the number of people. Tejashwi made it
clear that according to the data of the report, the political scenario of bihar is going to change. The Yadav
community seems to be getting a lot of benefits from this. RJD has already been claiming representation of
Yadavs. Yadav has also always been with RJD. However, as soon as the Grand Alliance government was formed
in bihar, Yadav was given special attention in the cabinet. Seven Yadav ministers were given place in the
cabinet.
Yadav community will remain in the main center
There are lok sabha elections next year. All the parties have already started making strategies regarding this.
Now the parties will make agenda according to the numerical strength of the castes, so that a large part of the
state can join their party. In this politics, every party will try to bring the Yadav community to its side. Especially
every party will try to woo the Yadav community towards itself. All parties will try to increase their stake in
their party also, so that they can get benefit in the elections. After the report of caste based census, one thing has
been decided that no matter which coalition government is formed in the state, the Yadav community will
definitely be at the center of it. Their participation is going to increase more than before.
