On Tuesday, october 3, a number of families in hyderabad who had yet to obtain 2BHK apartments protested in the streets. In front of the hyderabad District Collectorate, close to 200 people gathered and stopped the road in protest at the delayed allotment of the apartments.
To protest the delay in the housing assignment, women from the city's several assembly districts gathered at the collector's office in Lakdikapul. They showed their displeasure by complaining that despite having filed their applications long ago and having them verified, they had not been given access to the apartments. To scatter the ladies and clear the way for traffic, police came to the protest location.

Regarding the distribution of double-bedroom apartments built under the "Dignity Housing Scheme," similar large-scale demonstrations were recorded from other sites around the state. The project included the construction of a total of one lakh homes across the state, and the allotment procedure started in September. Nearly five lakh persons have submitted applications to the government.
