Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde on saturday (September 30) said that the state government is

committed to the all-round development of the Marathwada region. At a function here, chief minister Shinde

paid tribute to the freedom fighters involved in the liberation of Marathwada, which was part of hyderabad state

before 1948. He said, We can never forget the sacrifice of freedom fighters for the liberation of Marathwada. The

government is committed to the all-round development of Marathwada. The government has sanctioned an

amount of more than Rs 60 thousand crore for the development of the area.

During this, cm Eknath Shinde said that Marathwada will be connected to Samriddhi Expressway and the

proposed Nagpur-Goa Shaktipeeth Expressway. He said that the state government has taken many decisions for

the development of Marathwada. In the program, cm Eknath Shinde honored well-known personalities who have

done remarkable social work in different fields with Marathwada bhushan and Marathwada Ratna awards. CM

Shinde, in his address at the program, said that soon a campaign will be launched to check the health of senior

citizens. He said that this campaign will be named after balasaheb Thackeray.

What did cm Eknatha Shinde say?

Referring to the Shasan Aapya Daari scheme launched by the maharashtra government, cm Eknath Shinde

claimed that through this scheme, more than 1 crore 75 lakh beneficiaries have been given the benefits of

different schemes. This will be continued by the state government. He said that if any proposal comes for

Marathwada Bhavan, the state government will adopt a positive attitude towards it. Addressing the program,

Maharashtra Agriculture minister Dhananjay Munde said, we should not forget the Marathwada liberation war,

we need to preserve the history of this place through our works.
