Increase in old age homes due to children without culture..!?
Children should do the work of giving back what they have received from their parents in their evening. That is their responsibility. Children should take more care towards the health and well-being of their parents in their old age. He said that only a society that respects senior citizens can become a perfect society. He said that if the children neglect their father and mother by not taking proper care of them, such senior citizens can file a written complaint with the Deputy Divisional Officer and the law allows them to cancel the previous property deeds registered for their children and take back the property in their name. Ashwathamma, Deputy director of women and Child Development Department, said that there are 14,7000 senior citizens in the district, of which 57,452 have been issued identity cards. He said that there are 2 old age homes in the district to provide shelter to senior citizens due to unavoidable reasons.
He said that there are chaitanya Old Age Homes at Kaiwara in Chintamani Taluk and sultan Pete Sri Sai Dwarakamai Old Age Homes at Chikkaballapur Taluk and those who have been abandoned by their parents and have no children can take shelter in these old age homes.Nasir Ahmed, Chandrasekhar, Ranganna, Ramesh, Kasir Pheer who served and retired in various fields and Narasamma who achieved achievements in the field of kannada literature and centenary voters who completed 100 years in the taluk were honored by the election Commission.
