Need Zero Percentile: Supreme Court dismissed the petition!?
Many people are opposing this announcement of the central government. Criticisms are being made that this will reduce the quality of medical studies and that this notification has been issued for the profit of private medical colleges. Also, it is being urged that the NEET examination should be canceled at all levels of medical education as it has not helped in any way to increase the quality of medical education and prevent the commercialization of medical education.Meanwhile, a lawyer filed a petition in the supreme court against the announcement regarding zero percentile in the NEET Masters examination. Although the case was not listed today, the supreme court accepted the plea of the petitioner to hear it as an urgent case.
Accordingly, when the petition came up for hearing before a bench comprising of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice manoj mishra and Justice JP Parthiwala, the judges dismissed the petition saying, "The petitioner has no standing to file the petition."
