A important spiritual meeting was held on monday at the medak and Dornakal Diocese clergy retreat, which was presided over by Rev. Dharnaraj Rasalam, Bishop of the Church of South india (CSI). The occasion gave clergy members a chance to have insightful conversations and develop their relationships across the diocese. Bishop Rasalam's presence made for a richer experience.

It's a chance for us to unite, celebrate the long history of the medak Cathedral, and reaffirm our dedication to our faith, a participant remarked. The centennial of medak Cathedral will be honoured by medak Diocese the following year. The cathedral hosted this unique clergy retreat. During their meeting in medak on Wednesday, the officers of the medak Diocese gave chief minister K. Chandrashekar a note. They talked about the growth of the Cathedral Pilgrimage Project and the requirement for official government funding.

The conversations with the chief minister were "fruitful," according to the officers, given that the Cathedral will celebrate its centenary in december 2024. It was good news for the authorities and the diocese as the telangana state government showed a favourable commitment to promote the growth of the pilgrimage. The successful completion of the Cathedral Pilgrimage Project and the enhancement of amenities for pilgrims visiting the Cathedral are expected to be made possible by such commitment from the government, according to another executive of the diocese.
