Telangana Aarogyasri beneficiaries to get digital cards soon

Aarogyasri Community health Insurance Scheme is a health insurance program that offers financial protection for medical bills of Rs 2 lakhs, including coverage for life-threatening diseases. T Harish Rao, the health minister, presided over a review meeting on tuesday at the Aarogyasri health Care Trust office in Jubilee Hills. Following the chief minister's directive to increase health insurance coverage from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 5 lakh for each beneficiary covered under the plan, the decision to issue wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital cards was made.
The minister instructed the officials to begin medical audits of Aarogyasri cases by specialized doctors at NIMS while also requesting that they finish the e-KYC process for beneficiaries as soon as possible. "ENT Hospital at Koti, which had successfully carried out 856 black fungus surgeries while COVID was underway, will be receiving an additional incentive of Rs 1.3 crore," said Harish Rao. The minister also disclosed that Koti ENT Hospital offers free cochlear implant surgery to rehabilitate and restore deaf and dumb youngsters.
Additionally, it was decided to set up a committee and offer the service at MGM Warangal. To prevent residents of the constituency from having to travel to outlying locations, the state's dialysis centers have grown from 3 to 103, according to the minister. "Kidney sufferers now benefit greatly from this. To deliver higher-quality dialysis treatments, the board has approved the design and usage of specialized software for online monitoring, according to Harish Rao. Patients at Aarogyasri are permitted to utilize face recognition software.
