In the capital Patna, on thursday (July 14), bjp took out Vidhan Sabha march from gandhi Maidan. The entire march was stopped by the police at Dakbungalow intersection. Later the news came that a bjp leader had died. bihar bjp leaders alleged that bjp worker Vijay Singh (BJP leader Vijay Singh) of Jehanabad died due to police lathi charge. In a hurry, the police started the investigation. Late on thursday, the SSP of Patna, while giving evidence in this case, made it clear that the death did not happen due to lathicharge or stampede.

Patna SSP rajeev Mishra said that on the basis of the statement of Bharat prasad Chandravanshi, the companion of the deceased Vijay Singh, the CCTV footage of the area has been examined. It is learned from this that Vijay Singh is going from gandhi Maidan's JP Golambar towards Chajjubagh, which is separate from Dak Bungalow Road, at 1.22 pm. An empty rickshaw is seen in front of Durga Apartment on the same way at 1:27. By this rickshaw, he reaches tara Hospital at 1.32 am. It takes about five minutes by rickshaw to reach tara Hospital from Durga Apartment near the spot where the incident took place.

There was no police force in Chhajjubagh area

The SSP said that it is clear from this that the incident with Vijay Singh happened between 13:22 to 13:27 in Chhajjubagh area only. Meanwhile, they could not even reach the Dak Bungalow where mild force was used (at around 1 pm) to disperse the crowd. There was no police force in Chhajjubagh area. At the said spot in Chhajjubagh, the CCTV camera was not found covered, but 50 meters before that, their movement is visible in the camera.SSP rajeev Mishra said in a statement issued that it is clear from this that Vijay Singh did not die due to police lathicharge. No injury marks have also been found on his body. The actual cause of death will be clear only after the post mortem report comes.
