Telangana Martyrs Day rally: 6,000 artistes from State showcase diverse cultures

The large rally that was held on thursday to mark the conclusion of the 10th State Formation Day celebrations at the 125-foot Dr. BR Ambedkar Statue featured nearly 6,000 performers from 30 different cultural groups, including the Dappu artists, Bathukamma group, skits, Lambadi dancers, Oggu dhol, Bonalu group, and others.
The telangana Martyrs Day rally, which was started off at the Dr. BR Ambedkar Statue on ntr Marg by Tourism minister V srinivas Goud, ended without incident. It arrived at the Martyrs Memorial, which chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao dedicated as a memorial to those who gave their lives to advance the cause of an independent state.

Beginning on june 2, the government has arranged a number of events as part of the decennial festivities. Telangana-wide artists were asked to present performances that reflected the state's many cultures. Along with srinivas Goud, other BRS officials like Animal Husbandry minister Talasani srinivas Yadav and the Martyrs Memorial in front of the Dr. BR Ambedkar telangana State secretariat led the demonstration.


At PVNR Marg and nearby, a sizable bike rally was held to commemorate the opening of the new Martyrs Memorial. MLC K kavitha organised another demonstration from the Gun Park to the Martyrs Memorial. Numerous people joined the demonstrations that were organised by the ministers of the various seats. Ch Malla Reddy, the minister of labour, was spotted riding pillion while exuberantly brandishing the party flag. In addition to this, hundreds more bicycles came from various locations around the city and state to the Martyrs Memorial.
