"It is very important for
women to recognize their own potential to succeed in any field. They should not judge their performance based on the evaluation of others. They should be aware of the immeasurable potential that
women possess," said President Draupathi Murmu.
President Drarubathi Murmu attended the women's conference organized by the Union Tribal Welfare Ministry at Kundti,
jharkhand on
thursday (May 25). Speaking at the conference, he said, "Being born as a woman or in a tribal community is not a disadvantage. We can find countless examples of women's contribution in our country."
He also highlighted the valuable contributions of
women in social reform, politics, economy, education, science and research, business, sports, military and other fields. “To be successful in any field, self-recognition is very important. Don't judge your performance by other people's rating. They should be aware of the immeasurable potential of women."
Further, “Social and economic aspects are equally important in women's empowerment. The hard work of
jharkhand brothers and sisters has contributed significantly to the economy of the state as well as the economic growth of the country, so, move forward with confidence. Through this conference,
women will be more aware about their rights and about the various schemes of the
government for the welfare of women.
Tribal communities have set great examples in many fields. One of these is the absence of dowry system in tribal society. "Many
people in our society, even the well-educated, have not abandoned this dowry system," he said.
