It has come as a great surprise that the british Ambassador has said that he has never seen such a wonderful Chief Minister. It is learned that various important consultations were held during the meeting in Chandigarh. According to reports, chief minister Bhagwant Mann has demanded a direct flight between punjab and the United Kingdom, and british Ambassador alex Ellis has promised to look into the matter.
Consultations were also held on the opportunities for UK companies to invest in Punjab's education, information technology, and various industries. It is said that chief minister Bhagwant Mann has requested the british Ambassador to establish Punjab's involvement in the fields of agriculture, information technology, food processing, higher education, sports, public transport, especially electric transport in the state of Punjab.
Alex Ellis told reporters that the chief minister of punjab is very hardworking and caring for the people of Punjab. He has never seen such an active Chief Minister.
He also said that he would do all he could to help the UK use advanced technology in Punjab. He also said that all the requests made by the chief minister would be forwarded to the british Government.
Alex Ellis said the Chief Minister's intolerant stance and anti-corruption drive were commendable, adding that businessmen would be interested in investing in Punjab. He also lauded chief minister Bhagwant Mann for being an energetic leader in trying to attract entrepreneurs to the state of Punjab. Commenting on the meeting, the punjab chief minister said on his social media site that he was very happy to meet the british Ambassador and asked him to help set up businesses in Punjab.
