Telangana govt sanctions Rs 276 crore for underground drainage system in Mahabubnagar

Mahabubnagar will benefit significantly from the provision of funding for the construction of an underground drainage system, much as other key cities in the state. The state government finally approved Rs 276 crore for this urgent project on May 23 after years of waiting. minister srinivas Goud suggested the development of an underground drainage system when minister KT Rama Rao, who oversees municipal administration, recently visited Mahabubnagar. ktr gave his immediate support to the proposition.
An order was then obtained granting Rs 276 crores to begin the project. This project's main goal is to provide a reliable subsurdata-face drainage system for the city. Additionally, underground drainages will be installed throughout mahbubnagar town's major roadways and important residential districts to replace the side drains that already present.
Excise minister srinivas Goud recently held an official review meeting during which he set a one-year deadline for the project's completion. The local officials have already developed a strategy. Mahbubnagar's designation as a municipal corporation is also a suggestion that is now being thought about.
