INSIDE STORY: Climax Issues for Rajinikanth's 2.0?
Superstar Rajinikanth and Director Shankar's next magnum opus "2.0", the sequel of Robot is almost Complete. Rajinikanth had already moved to the shooting of his next film, Kaala. But then, he is yet to finish his part for 2.0. Reason for skipping over to other project without completing the existing is due to the Climax confusion of director Shankar.
Shankar is in two minds about the Climax whether to make it with VFX or realistic part. Once he finalizes that, Rajinikanth will come back. 2.0 which was earlier planned for Diwali release is pushed to 25th January 2018 as Republic Day Weekend Special. Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar are also divided about the film's Climax.
Leading Entertainment Channel, Zee TV acquired satellite rights (3 languages) of the film for a humongous price of 110+ Crore which is never before heard price in Indian Cinema.The movie budget is around 350 Crore. For the first time, Shankar is shooting a film in 3D. This is the first time, Amy Jackson is romancing the Superstar. AR Rahman is composing music for the film. He scored music for Robot as well.
