Katamarayudu Movie Review, Rating
Pawan Kalyan's acting style is amazing and after 'Sardaar' debacle, he has bounced back. Kishore Kumar Pardasani had directed this movie, which is the remake of Tamil Movie Veeram by Ajith and Tamannah in leading roles. Shruthi Haasan’s performance is superb and her chemistry with Pawan had worked very well in this movie. In fact, the lead pair has done a commendable job than 'Gabbar Singh'. Shruti looks drop-dead gorgeous in traditional attire. Pawan Kalyan's brothers Siva Balaji, Ajay, Ali, Chaitanya Krishna and Kamal Kamaraju have done a decent job in the movie. Nassar had acted a Shruthi Hassan's father and his acting is superb. Shruthi Hassan had shown less glamour in the movie which might disappoint her fans to a greater extent. But in the end, it is Pawan who shoulders the movie single-handed. He scores a lot of action scenes in particular.
Anup Rubens had scored the music and the first song MIRA MIRA MEESAM was released on 3rd March in YouTube and got 100k Likes in just less than 4 hours and now holds the record of most like lyrical video in South India. Prasad Murella's cinematography work is appreciatable and the camera had shown the village more effectively. The editing part was done by Gautam Raju and it is made perfectly. The songs are shot in abroad and the dream destinations are shown superbly. The duet song is made marvelously and the action scenes are excellently made. The technical aspects of the movie are very well done and deserve a big round of applause. Ram-Laxman's action choreography deserves special applause.
