Major Breakthrough in rohit shetty Residence Shooting Case: 6 Arrested from Rajasthan

The mumbai Crime Branch has made a significant development in the shooting incident at Rohit Shetty’s Juhu residence, arresting six more accused from Rajasthan.

With these arrests, the total number of people apprehended in the case has reached 11 individuals.

The latest arrests include Aditya Gayki (19), siddharth Yenpure (20), Samarth Pomaji (18), Swapnil Sakat (23), and Asaram Fasale, who allegedly provided the shooter with a scooter, equipment, and weapons.

Deepak Sharma, the alleged shooter, along with five others, was arrested by the mumbai police Anti-Extortion Cell from haryana and rajasthan on sunday night and brought to Mumbai.

The shooting incident occurred in the early hours of february 1st, at around 12:45 a.m., when at least five shots were fired on the first floor of Shetty’s nine-story building. One bullet hit the glass of the gym inside the building.

Shubham Lonkar, a member of the lawrence Bishnoi gang, has claimed responsibility for the attack on social media.

Lonkar is also a wanted accused in the murder of ncp leader baba Siddiqui and the shooting at bollywood actor salman Khan’s Bandra residence.

Due to the organized and serious nature of the crime, the police have invoked stringent provisions under the maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA).

The arrests highlight a coordinated operation by the mumbai police, tracking and apprehending gang members across multiple states.

Officials confirmed that the arrested accused were allegedly involved in planning and executing the shooting, with some providing logistics, weapons, and vehicles to the shooter.

The Crime Branch continues to investigate the case thoroughly, working to uncover all links to the organized gang and other potential conspirators.

These developments have brought significant relief to the city and the film fraternity, underlining the mumbai Police’s crackdown on organized crime targeting high-profile individuals.
