Emraan Hashmi has got the tag of a serial kisser. The actor had said in an interview that his wife does not like his intimate scenes in films at all.

The reason was Emraan Hashmi's intimate scenes in the film and his on-screen kisses with the actresses. As a result, the actor got the tag of 'serial kisser' in the film industry. Emraan had once revealed that his wife did not like his on-screen image.


What did emraan hashmi say about the serial kisser tag

Talking about the serial kisser tag in an interview with Rediff in 2014, Emraan said, "I have realised that the serial kisser tag has been given to me, and I am not going to fight it." The actor revealed what happened when he and soha ali khan did not lip kiss in the 2009 film Tum Mile.


He had said, "I was watching Tum Mile and we got to the scene where Soha (Ali Khan) and I are alone. Now, in a typical Emraan film, what is expected is that I have to kiss the girl. Here I don't, and I heard the person next to me say, 'Emraan Hashmi, did you get sick in this film?' The actor then said, "It's like when salman khan doesn't take off his shirt in a film, the audience feels cheated."

Wife does not like intimate scenes in the film

 Emraan further revealed that even though the audience was happy, his wife had a problem with his intimate scenes. He said, "Every actor has some symbolic 'things' that he has to do to keep the audience happy. And that is a good thing. It is much better and more fun than taking off your shirt!" The actor concluded, "My wife and my father have a problem with me doing intimate scenes every time, but they know that I have made these choices for longevity. They may not like it, but they understand it."

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor's last released film was Ground Zero. The movie was released in theatres on 25 April, and emraan hashmi played the role of a BSF officer for the first time in it. However, this patriotic film did not perform well at the box office. The actor will soon be seen in two telugu films, OG and G2.
