After the accident with 'Indian Idol 12' winner Pawandeep Rajan on the morning of May 5, a new update has come regarding his health. On tuesday (May 6) morning, his team issued an official statement informing about his health. The statement said that Pawandeep has suffered several serious injuries, some of which have undergone surgery for fractures, whilethe rest of the injuries will be treated in the next few days. His sister has also made an emotional appeal to the fans not to share pictures or videos of Pawandeep and pray for his speedy recovery.

Pawandeep's team said in a statement, "Pawandeep has suffered several serious fractures and some minor injuries. The day after the accident was very difficult for his family and well-wishers. He remained in severe pain and unconscious throughout the day. After several examinations and tests, he was taken to the operation theater at 7 pm on Monday. After six hours of surgery, some of his major fractures were successfully treated." Pawandeep is currently under the supervision of doctors in the medical ICU. The team said that after three to four days of rest, surgery would be done for his remaining injuries and fractures.

How did the accident happen?

Pawandeep Rajan became a victim of a road accident near Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh on the morning of May 5. He was going from delhi to ahmedabad to attend an event. His car rammed into a canter parked on the side of the highway in Gajraula from behind. His driver Rahul Singh andcompanion Ajay Mehrawere also injured in this accident. All three were admitted to a private hospital by the police.

She wrote, "We are saddened to inform you that Pawan has become a victim of a tragic accident and is hospitalized. Please do not share his photos or videos, it causes great pain to the family and friends. All fans are requested to pray for his speedy recovery."
