delhi police is questioning Rhea Chakraborty, comedian Bharti Singh and YouTuber Elvish Yadav in a scam case related to the Highbox mobile app. In this case, summons have been sent to many other YouTubers and social media influencers. It is alleged that these people have lured thousands of people with the promise of interest returns. There is an allegation of a scam of Rs 500 crore in this mobile app scam. delhi police had received more than 500 complaints that after watching the promotional videos of their favorite social media influencers and YouTubers, they had invested in this app. They have also been accused of scamming 30 thousand people.

Case registered against these YouTubers and influencers

Apart from Rhea Chakraborty, comedian Bharti Singh and YouTuber Elvish Yadav, a complaint has been filed against YouTubers like Saurabh Joshi, Harsh Limbachiyaa, abhishek Malhan, Dilraj Singh Rawat, Purav Jha, Lakshya Chaudhary, adarsh Singh and amit in the Hibox mobile app scam case.

According to news agency PTI, police Commissioner hemant Tiwari said, 'HIBOX is a mobile application which was part of a scam done under a plan. Through the application, the accused promised guaranteed returns of one to five percent daily and 30 to 90 percent in a month.' police also informed that the main accused in this case, Shivram (30), who is a resident of Chennai, has already been arrested.

police has also said in a statement that it is also investigating two payment platforms - EasyBuzz and PhonePe. Because these apps have not followed the guidelines of the Reserve bank of India.
