Alia Bhatt got Jigra because of Karan Johar?

alia Bhatt's film Jigra is ready for release. The film is going to release on october 11 and alia is busy promoting it. Jigra is directed by Vasan Bala. Vasan had recently revealed in an interview how karan johar had sent the rough script for Jigra to alia Bhatt. Vasan did not like this at all. In the same interview, alia also revealed that she had been following the filmmaker for a month because she liked the story very much. After alia and Vasan's interview, people understood it as if alia was not the makers' first choice for this role. Now the producer and director of the film have reprimanded such people.

The film's producer Soman Mishra has cleared all the things by sharing a video of an interview on social media. Along with this, Vasan has also thanked karan johar by commenting.

Soman spoke on Alia's casting

Posting the video, Soman wrote- 'Here is a video in which Vasan bala is saying in a recent interview that he did not plan to make alia bhatt a part of the film Jigra. Before he could complete his script properly, karan had already sent the script to him.' Soman further wrote- 'Hahahaha this appeared on TL. It's so funny. When Vasan, I and KJ were discussing the initial story, we were desperate to cast Alia. I mean I don't know a single filmmaker who wouldn't do this. She is absolutely the best. And we were lucky that she said yes. Vasan meant that it was a rough pitch then.'

Soman further wrote- 'All actors are given all kinds of pitches. If they like the location or something, then you go ahead with the final script. Many times they say yes and then the script doesn't work or even the opposite happens. There is so much stupidity on social media that a small thing is blown out of proportion.' 'When you watch the film, you will realise what I mean that we were desperate to cast him in the film. He is magic on screen. If he had refused, I don't know with whom Vasan would have made Jigra, it is impossible to even imagine that anyone else could play Satya. The rest is all nonsense.
