Esha Deol: Esha Deol has revealed in an interview that she was not allowed to go out wearing short skirts. The actress also said that her father Dharmendra wanted her to get married in her teens.Dharmendra wanted to get Esha married at the age of 18

In a conversation with Hauterfly, esha deol said that her father is "completely conservative",and said that he wanted her to get married in her teens because that's what he grew up seeing around him. "He didn't want me to get into films. He is a bit conservative, rightly so... He is a punjabi father, and he wanted us to get married and settle down at the age of 18. But my upbringing was very different."She further said that while growing up with her mother Hema Malini, she was very impressed with her mother's films and wanted to make a name for herself. However, it was not easy to convince her father.

Isha further revealed, "My grandmother was very strict. We were not allowed to go out wearing spaghetti and short skirts. We were not allowed to go out late at night.
