AAY Movie - A Medicine to this Week Disasters!
Directed by Anji K Maniputhra is Aay. Everything in this romantic comedy is predictable, but with a slight twist. Like most great movies, it starts out nicely. This is demonstrated by the opening scene, which raises questions. Although it is straightforward, it keeps the audience interested. The comedy and entertainment are the key themes of the story. Through a comedic sketch, the individual blocks transition from one moment to the next. The good news is that, even when we are aware of the intended outcome, everything is designed to flow naturally.
As long as amusement is the main priority, the film succeeds. Although the effect changes from block to block, jokes never stop coming. These jokes carry the first half, with the story taking a turn around the halfway point. It is not really surprising, which detracts from the overall effect. However, given how entertainment functions, one anticipates the same in the second part. After the interval, the drama intensifies but the humor keeps going. There's a lot of humor, but the performers' precise timing makes it all seem easy.
Aay's plot is shallow overall, yet the constant entertainment value keeps viewers interested to varied degrees. Finally, when it counts, it cleanly closes things out, making a good impression. Although it's not the greatest, it gives enough to be worth a quick viewing.
