Poor Vikram! Only 2 Success in 2 Decades!
Chiyaan Vikram, who is well-known for his extraordinary acting abilities, has had a bad run of failures spanning almost twenty years. Since his last big blockbuster, Aparichithudu, in 2005, Vikram's career has been beset by a string of underwhelming movies, despite his outstanding skill set. vikram has had several failures throughout the years, including monumental calamities such as Mallanna, Bheema, Raavan, Rajapattai, Irumugan, Saamy Square, and Cobra. Only Mani Ratnam's ponniyin selvan trilogy and Shankar's I have been somewhat successful among his more recent endeavors.
This pattern is also evident in his most recent film, Thangalaan, which was directed by Pa Ranjith. Despite a respectable opening weekend gross in Tamil, the movie has not been well received by word-of-mouth. The movie's openers in telugu theaters have not been great. In Thangalaan, vikram gives an exceptional performance, bringing a great depth and physicality to the part. His portrayal of the character, which is both visceral and subtle, demonstrates his skill and passion to the role.
His effect is ultimately diminished by the film's disorganized plot and complicated writing, even with his powerful performance. Though a lot of work went into making Thangalaan, the film falls short of entirely engrossing the viewer due to its convoluted and complicated plot. Because of the shortcomings, Vikram's outstanding performance is wasted. Both supporters and detractors alike are optimistic that vikram will soon reap the rewards for his brilliance.
