All those who celebrated ilayaraja with their heads are now seen as an enemy. It's all about the musician. Now he's holding on to money. He sends a notice asking for rights to whoever uses his song. The entire Kodambakkam now shows hatred towards Ilayaraja. Not only for new songs. A notice also flies to those who have already used the ilayaraja song. When all the producers meet each other they ask why ilayaraja is doing this and have you used his song in your films.
To that extent, ilayaraja is disturbing everyone. Recently, he has sent a notice for Rajini starrer 'Coolie' movie. Notice has been sent stating lokesh kanagaraj is causing trouble by using his song in the movie Coolie. He has also complained that his song is appearing in three of his films. Apart from this, the song from Guna is featured in the recently released Manjummel Boys film which collected more than 100 crores. He has sent a notice to the producer of the film asking for compensation. Already, the Manjummel Boys film team has been arguing that they bought this film by paying 75 lakh rupees after obtaining permission from the company called Pyramid. Like Ilaiyaraaja, the foreign releaser of this film has been making trouble for them as well.
