Devara - Not A Burden On NTR’s Shoulders!

S Venkateshwari
The creators of "Devara" haven't released an official statement, but even though sithara Entertainment's naga Vamsi disputed the other day that the posters and statistics circulating in the market about the movie's distribution rights are false, an intriguing debate ensued. Many question if it will be able to reach the figure that is being projected as it relates to the theatrical rights of the movie. This is a thought-provoking observation.

According to certain estimates, Global Star Jr. NTR's "Devara" theatrical rights would fetch about ₹120 crores, however, other sources claim the transaction will be fixed at ₹110 crores. Some film enthusiasts believe that earning ₹110+ crores at the box office is not an easy feat. Still, there's no real evidence for that idea. The gifted actor had previously crossed the ₹95 crore share milestone with "Aravinda Sametha" in 2018, effortlessly finishing the movie's run at the box office. Following that, tarak was able to achieve even greater success because of RRR, which also gave him access to new markets. His market in the telugu states will inevitably expand at the same time as people are eagerly anticipating his next release.

Even if there is some unease due to the recent unimpressive performance of director Koratala Siva, thanks to megastar Chiranjeevi's Acharya, NTR's presence, the classic scenario, and superb casting are undoubtedly clouding "Devara" with an emphatic beginning. Positive buzz for the movie would be enough to make the rest of history, as ntr would easily get the ₹110+ crores "share" from telugu states alone. Therefore, Young tiger is not even burdened by the high theatrical value.
