Sameer Wankhede: Big update in sameer Wankhede case,now new officer will lead the special investigation team
The officer leading the NCB's Special Investigation Team (SET) against sameer Wankhede has been transferred. Now IPS Neeraj Kumar Gupta has been appointed in place of Dnyaneshwar Singh. He has been given an additional charge for three months.
A new update has come in sameer Wankhede's case. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has removed the officer heading the Special Investigation Team (SET). On behalf of the Union home Ministry, NCB Deputy director General (DDG) Gyaneshwar Singh was transferred from the post of Chief Vigilance (CVO). A day before this, NCB DDG (Orissa cadre police officer) Sanjay Kumar Singh had resigned. Both the officers had given a clean chit to aryan in the drug case.

According to top NCB officials, Dnyaneshwar Singh has been removed following complaints of negligence and misconduct. Meanwhile, IPS neeraj kumar Gupta will now lead this team.
