When Vishwak Sen resorted to social media in december to protest the postponement of the Gangs of Godavari movie's premiere, it garnered a lot of attention. Taking to social media, Vishwak threatened to stop promoting the movie if its december release date was missed. Subsequently, Gangs of Godavari was scheduled for release on march 8th; however, Vishwak's much-delayed feature Gaami ultimately took its place.
Finally, Gangs of Godavari's producers declared that the movie will be out on May 17th, which is four days after the ap Elections. Vishwak also disclosed the movie's premiere date. On march 25, the day of the holi celebration, Ayesha Khan will make her special appearance in the song Motha. The song's music was composed by Yuvan shankar Raja, with lyrics written by Chandra Bose. The female lead is Neha Shetty, a.k.a. dj Tillu. The film is being produced by sithara Entertainment in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas.
