Article 370 box office Collection Day 3: yami gautam Film Surpasses Expectations, Earns Rs 25 Crore In First Weekend



On its first weekend, Yami Gautam's movie 'Article 370' saw a significant increase in ticket sales.


The much-anticipated film ‘Article 370’, starring yami gautam and Priyamani, has left a mark at the box office with its impressive performance since its release. According to an official report from the film production, the movie witnessed a substantial surge in earnings on Sunday, raking in Rs 10.25 crore. This brought its total domestic collection to an impressive Rs 25.45 crore.

‘Article 370’ embarked on its theatrical journey with a solid opening day collection of Rs 6.12 crore, followed by a notable increase on Saturday, garnering Rs 9.08 crore, marking a remarkable rise from its debut. This positive trajectory continued on Sunday, contributing to the film's overall success.


Sharing the box office numbers of the film, Yami wrote, "Thank you so much for giving so much love to our small little film, with a big heart."

Despite receiving mixed reviews, ‘Article 370’ managed to hold its ground at the box office, partly attributed to its release coinciding with ‘Cinema Lovers Day,’ offering discounted ticket prices at Rs 99. prime minister Narendra Modi also referenced the film in a rally in Jammu on february 20, stating its significance in providing accurate information to the audience.


Directed by Aditya suhas Jambhale and produced by Aditya Dhar and B62 Studios, the film also features kiran Karmarkar and Arun Govil in pivotal roles. The film delves into the anti-terrorism operations carried out in kashmir after the removal of Article 370.


‘Article 370’ Vs ‘Crakk’


In comparison to the action-packed film ‘Crakk’, starring vidyut jammwal and Nora Fatehi, ‘Article 370’ maintained a competitive edge over the weekend. On Sunday, ‘Crakk’ earned Rs 2.40 crore, bringing its total domestic earnings to Rs 8.80 crore, trailing significantly behind ‘Article 370’.
