Along with this, shahid kapoor shared an anecdote of ishaan related to the making of the film. He revealed, 'Ishaan got typhoid after drinking water from the hand pump. He wanted to drink water from the hand pump. I said that ishaan, we are children of the big city. I don't think hand-pump water is good for us. He said, "Hey brother, nothing happens." He went and drank water from the hand pump and after two days he fell ill.'

After 'Udta Punjab' and before doing the film 'Dhadak' with Janhvi Kapoor, ishaan Khattar entered acting with 'Beyond the Clouds'.
