In the event of ABP Network, aamir khan told things about his rehearsal days. He also narrated an anecdote from the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. During which he told how he was inspired by amitabh Bachchan. aamir khan said, I was shooting 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' at Filmcity. That day my cousin Nujat was with me and director Mansoor was setting up the set outside. There was me, Nujat, Jurshi and probably reena too, we were sitting in the make-up room. It was a day scene, the evening shoot was to happen and we had a gap of 1 to 2 hours. We had to shoot a night scene so we waited for the sun to set.

aamir khan further said, during the break time, we saw that the shooting of a film was going on outside. Voices started coming, lights started coming on and then the sound of action came. At that time an actor's rehearsal was going on and the actor said that line 100-200 times. After one point I said who rehearses so much? When I went there, opened the door and saw amit ji (Amitabh Bachchan), amit ji was rehearsing.
