Alia Bhatt calls it disheartening after a Dog Assault video went viral
In the video, a pet clinic employee can be seen repeatedly punching the Chow Chow dog in the data-face and back. A man filming the incident was also seen hitting the dog as it struggled. The dog was then seen getting off the stretcher and leaving the room while the man continued to kick it. Many people, including several bollywood actors, have expressed their outrage over the viral video.
Nilesh Bhange, an office-bearer of the animal rights organisation PAWS, and a few other people filed a non-cognizable complaint after the video went viral on social media, an official told the news agency PTI. A magistrate’s order is required before police can look into a non-cognizable complaint, as per reports.
