Fighter: 'There is no such person in the air Force', siddharth anand breaks silence on kissing controversy in uniform

'Fighter' directed by siddharth anand is doing well at the box office. However, the film did not take off the way siddharth anand and his team had planned. The film starring hrithik roshan and deepika padukone hit the theaters without holidays, releasing on january 25. A person claiming to be an indian air Force officer objected to a kissing scene shown in this film and sent a legal notice to the director. Now the director has broken his silence regarding this.

There is a scene in the film, in which hrithik roshan and deepika padukone are kissing each other in uniform. After seeing this scene, IAF's Wing commander Soumyadeep Das, posted in Assam, objected to this scene and sent a legal notice to its director. Now director siddharth anand has spoken openly on this.

Siddharth anand said, “This film completely resonates with the IAF. IAF has been a co-collaborator in the film and has been a great collaborative partner in our film. The film has gone through meticulous processes with the IAF. From presenting the script to production planning. The film was seen before the film was approved by the Censor Board. This was seen again in the IAF. The film has also been reviewed after censoring. We got the NOC No Objection Certificate. After this, we got the censor certificate.

Siddharth further said, "We showed the entire film to everyone in the air Force, including air Force Chief Shri Choudhary and over 100 air Marshals from across the country. We called them and had a screening for them a day before the release of the film in Delhi. Hosted the screening and he even gave us a standing ovation."
