Latest Kannada Film Making Waves at Box Office
The recently released kannada film "Katera," directed by tarun Sudhir and starring the dynamic duo Darshan and Aradhana Ram, is creating waves at the box office. Despite being a medium-budget picture, it has achieved exceptional success, grossing over Rs. 77 crores in four days.
The film was released in theatres on december 29 and grossed Rs. 19.79 crore on the first day and Rs. 17.35 crore on the second day. The enthusiasm continued on the third day, with a collection of Rs. 20.94 crore, bringing the total to nearly Rs. 58 crore in three days globally. Even on New Year's Eve, the film added Rs. 18.26 crores to its already amazing total.
Surprisingly, the picture maintained its outstanding success even after the weekend, with no drop in box office on Monday. Notably, tollywood star Jagapathi Babu was instrumental in the success of this initiative. Despite its success, it's worth mentioning that "Katera" was only released in Kannada. We'll have to wait and see if somebody volunteers to translate it into Telugu.
