He said that it is the biggest honor for him that the Ladki Behan (women) of the state consider him as their dear brother. It is worth noting that the Ladki Behan scheme was started in the previous government to provide financial assistance to women. Then Eknath Shinde was the Chief Minister. It is believed that this scheme played an important role in the victory of the Mahayuti. In the recently held maharashtra Assembly elections, bjp, Eknath Shinde's shiv sena and Ajit Pawar's ncp contested together and won a big victory. After this, bjp leader devendra fadnavis took oath as Chief Minister.

Ajit Pawar and Shinde are Deputy CMs in this government. According to a report by news agency PTI, Eknath Shinde attended the Diva Mahotsav in thane district on monday night and here he commented on becoming the deputy chief minister from the Chief Minister. Shinde said, "I am proud and happy that 2.40 crore Ladki sisters have recognized me as Ladka Bhau (dear brother). It is a great honor. Shinde said that prime minister Narendra Modi has assured full support for the all-round development of maharashtra and the state has progressed in the last two and a half years (Mahayuti rule).

Shinde said, "The prime minister has constantly given all the expected support to the state and the Mahayuti alliance, due to which we have been able to overcome obstacles and move the stalled projects forward." Shinde expressed gratitude to fadnavis for his unwavering support during his tenure as Chief Minister. He said, "As deputy chief minister, I am repaying this support and together we want to take maharashtra towards unprecedented development."
