Salaar - Will Increased Ticket Prices Deter Audiences?

Fans celebrate the release of a star hero movie in theatres, but the common audience is a bit confused. The reason for that is the increase in ticket prices. Meanwhile, the ticket prices for top hero films have become a norm. With that, the audience is taking a step back to watch the movie in theatres with their families. It looks like the same thing is going to happen again.

In recent times, even though some big movies have been released, their ticket rates have not been increased. Because the audience is not coming to the theatres at the current ticket rates, or if the rates are increased again, there is a fear among the producers that they will be cheated in the first place. That is why most of the big movies including Bholashankar and Bhagavanth kesari released in recent times were released in theatres with normal ticket rates. 


Prabhas starrer 'Salaar' movie, it seems that the producers are thinking of increasing the ticket rates once again. kgf director prashant Neel's 'Salaar' is going to release grandly on december 22. It is needless to say that there are already expectations on the film. If you look at the hype of the movie, it seems that it will rake in Rs.200 crores with the openings itself. Earlier prabhas starrer films like Saahoo and Adipurush collected more than 100 crores on the first day. 


The recent release 'Leo' also earned more than Rs 140 crore in openings. In tollywood this year, 'Adipurush' has become the highest opening film with Rs.137 crores. Irrespective of the talk, Prabhas' movies are getting collections of hundreds of crores. Noticing the same, the Salar makers are trying to increase the ticket rates. A request has already been made to the government. As the budget of the film is more than Rs.200 crores, there are possibilities to increase the ticket prices.
