maintaining their place in the industry. These celebs have now become superstars. These stars have also done
many films together in which their chemistry was very much liked. karan arjun is also an iconic film of this
time. In which the audience got to see the jugalbandi of shahrukh khan and salman Khan. karan arjun was
released in the year 1995. This film was directed by Rakesh Roshan. karan arjun also made great earnings at the
box office. But do you know that salman and Shahrukh were not the makers first choice for the film.
Deol brothers were the first choice
If reports are to be believed, karan arjun was first offered to sunny deol and bobby Deol. Rakesh Roshan
wanted to make this film with Deol Brothers and it was named Kainaat. Till then bobby deol had not even
entered the industry. When Sunny was approached, he agreed to play the role of Arjun. He also liked the script
but when bobby was approached for karan, he was in a dilemma about the film. Because at that time he was
preparing for his debut film Barsaat. During that time sunny deol felt that his popularity could spoil the debut of
bobby Deol. So he decided to leave the film so that Bobby's debut would not be spoiled. Later bobby also
refused to do this film.
