Around 9:45 pm on saturday night, Nagabhushan was speeding from Uttarahal area towards Konanakkam in a car. The car went out of control and hit an electric pole. He then ran over two people. The accident victims are husband and wife. A 48-year-old woman died on the way to the hospital. Her 58-year-old husband is undergoing treatment. According to the police, the cause of the accident was over speeding and careless driving. Officials are of the opinion that the breathalyzer did not show any signs of alcohol consumption. Traffic DCP Siva Prakash informed that Nagabhushanam blood samples have been sent for tests.
