Priyamani felt protective towards all of her co-stars
Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release 'Jawan' had multiple actors including Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, girija Oak, Lehar Khan and Aaliyah Qureishi. Priyamani, who is the senior-most, felt protective towards all of her co-stars and used to ensure that they didn’t leave the set alone late at night.
In an interview, priyamani said that she made sure that all of them went back together, because sometimes it used to get late, like 2 am or 6 in the morning, and she didn’t want them to go alone. She just felt protective of her co-stars. The actress revealed that she used to say to them 'You girls are coming with me'. priyamani further added that when she got a chance, she used to drop Aaliyah and Sanjeeta halfway. She didn’t want them to be all alone. She also made sure that Ashlesha Thakur also reached home safely after finishing the shoot.
'Jawan' released in theatres on september 7 in Hindi, tamil and Telugu. The film stars Shah Rukh in the dual role of vikram Rathore and his son Azad. It also stars deepika padukone and sanjay dutt in special appearances. Directed by Atlee, it also stars Nayanthara and vijay sethupathi in pivotal roles.
