As much as his father has been instrumental in Vijay's success, he has also been responsible for some of his slip-ups. Thalapathy Vijay became a hit hero in tamil cinema after a big struggle. Even today as a leading hero, he has data-faced many struggles and controversies. His father and director SA chandrasekhar was the biggest supporter of Vijay's success in the early days. In the early days many directors and producers thought of accepting Vijay as a hero, chandrasekhar stepped into the field and successively directed and produced films for his son. Similarly, for Vijay's films, he was in charge of the story and the call sheet.

They too will listen to everything that the greatest director has to say, thinking that he is looking for us and appreciating us. He will also direct a film next for that hero.

He is directing unsuccessful films with successful heroes and leaving them out of cinema. Actors like Naren, ravi Krishna, Jai, Nitin Sathya, etc. are all like this. After doing so much for his son, director SAC has now been left behind by his son.
