The bank said, 'The borrower (Sunny Deol) approached the bank to pay the outstanding amount as per the auction notice issued on 20 August. The Borrower/Guarantor was informed that he/she is entitled to pay the outstanding amount/cost/fees and expenses anytime before the auction. ,
What did the bank say in the notice?
In a public notice issued by the bank on Sunday, it was said that the bank has attached the property of Sunny Villa located on Gandhigram Road in Mumbai's Tony Juhu area. The reserve price for the auction has been fixed at Rs 51.43 crore and the earnest money of Rs 5.14 crore. This auction will be done on august 25 through online mediums. The notice stated that the actor has the option of repaying the dues to the bank to stop the auction under the provisions of the SARFAESI Act of 2002.
