Sharmila Tagore reveals how her husband Mansoor supported her to work after marriage

Recently, actress sharmila tagore in an interview talked about the distinct similarities that her children Saif, Soha, and Saba ali Khan bear with her and their father late Mansoor ali Khan Pataudi.

Veteran actress sharmila tagore lost her heart to famous cricketer Mansoor ali Khan 'Pataudi' in the 60s and got married in 1969. The couple gave birth to three children Saif ali Khan, Saba ali Pataudi, and Soha ali Khan. Despite belonging to different religions, both sharmila and Mansoor have respected their beliefs, which has made them one of the most popular celebrity couples of all time.

Sharmila Tagore recalled when people asked her how her husband Mansoor ali Khan Pataudi allowed her to work in films even after their marriage. The actress admitted that it was quite normal to hear such questions from people, as women were not even allowed to read in those days. sharmila also cited the example of her mother and revealed how she was not allowed to study in a co-ed university. Reflecting on the difference between her time and the current situation, sharmila shared, "I got a lot of support from my family, my husband, who always gave me space, always supported me in everything. I need to explain myself. I didn't get that kind of support, so I had that kind of support. I'm so blessed by that. My mom wasn't allowed to go to a co-ed university, she had to do her MA privately. I've been asked, 'Your husband How did he let you work after your marriage.' However, things are changing now. We are going ahead."

In the same interview, sharmila tagore talked about her three children Soha ali Khan, Saif ali Khan, and Saba ali Pataudi. The doting mother of three revealed that her children have the qualities of their mother as well as their father late Mansoor ali Khan Pataudi. Revealing that Saif is quite fond of her as they share similar temperament, the veteran actress said that Soha is more like her father Tiger Pataudi and Saba is a mix of both. Please tell that Mansoor ali Khan Pataudi died on 22 september 2011 at Sir ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. The veteran cricketer was battling a lung infection due to which he struggled for many years before he passed away at the age of 70. In the same interview with 'Bollywood Bubble', sharmila tagore also spoke about the impact of her husband's demise. Talking about the same, she admitted that she does not believe in the saying that time heals all wounds.

However, she admits that she does not miss him, as she always feels the presence of her husband. sharmila tagore quoted her 'Gulmohar' co-star Manoj Bajpayee's thoughts on the same subject saying that we always remember the memories of a person, even after losing them. She also told that whenever she is about to do something new and is about to take a decision, she is aware of her husband Mansoor ali Khan Pataudi. sharmila said, "Well, I think a lot of people say that everything heals with time, but I don't think so. I think memories heal and then as manoj bajpayee Said that you only remember memories and I don't remember them, because I feel his (Mansoor ali Khan Pataudi) presence. I know that if I want to do something if I want to say something, What would have been his answer? 

Furthermore, in the same interview, sharmila tagore also talked about her married life with her husband Mansoor ali Khan, and admitted that they always respected each other's views and tried their best to follow the notion that "it's okay to disagree." 

The bindaas wife admitted that there were many topics on which she had different views, but at the same time, there were many things on which she and Mansoor had similar views. Elaborating on the same, he said, "So you know sometimes you argue but some things we never agreed on and then you look at each other and you know it. So I think these are my personal views which I don't want to shy away from and I feel his (Mansoor ali Khan Pataudi) presence all the time. He is a part of my life."
