1. Waltair Veeraya
In the middle of festival fever, the movie premiered to packed houses. Family audiences began to pack the theatres as a result of the openings being attended by fans of both chiranjeevi and ravi Teja. There was eventually talk that the film had come with lighter moments in the performance of old Chiranjeevi. Over the holiday weekend, collections were spectacular, and it ranked first on the list. The picture had the best audience response this season, both in india and internationally. The movie was declared the Sankranthi victor.
2. Veera simha Reddy
This Balakrishna-starring movie was released to raucous applause. The openings were initially quite large but abruptly began to decline rapidly starting on the second day. The tdp organisations have made every effort to make inflated booking totals appear impressive. The film was restricted to a small audience because of the excessive amount of violence and severe drama without any lighter narrative sections. Over the weekend, there was a declining trend in the collections.
3. Tegimpu
On the first day itself, the movie was rated a hit. The bulk of the audience enjoyed the intense action drama that was restricted to one place during the entire movie. This was an extensive attempt to recreate old hollywood movies, and it did well with the local audience. At the telugu box office during this pongal season, ajith ultimately scored a hit.
4. Vaarasudu
All of the centres had a muted reaction to the movie. Despite the fact that the film was created by a well-known telugu producer and director, the hero has led the audience to mistake it for a dubbed production. The story of a prosperous business family resonated to individuals who truly enjoy experiencing richness on TV. Vijay made an attempt to compete against the local heroes chiranjeevi and Balakrishna, but he ended up in fourth place.
5. Kalyanam Kamaneeyam
While two major straight pictures and two major dubbed films dominated the festival season with roars. A few screens were taken up by the movie Kalyanam Kamaneeyam, which ventured to enter the scene. Although it differs from other high dose and high voltage flicks, the film's dated plot and predictable narration did not help it gain favourable reviews. The movie had the shortest runtime in recent memory, so it didn't tax viewers' patience, but it also wasn't able to win them over.
