The film has been selected for the indian Panorama category at the 53rd IFFI. Hearing this, not only the fans but Adivi Shesh are also very happy.

Apart from 'Major', 25 feature films and 20 non-feature films including films like 'RRR' and 'Jai Bheem' have also been shortlisted for further categories of IFFI. But the special thing is that 'Major' was chosen despite being completely in Hindi.
