Tamil Nadu chief minister M. K. stalin today inaugurated nine newly constructed police stations across the state, built at a total cost of ₹43.91 crore. The initiative aims to strengthen the state’s law and order machinery and improve policing infrastructure for better public service.

Speaking at the inauguration, the chief minister said that modern and well-equipped police stations are essential for effective law enforcement and public safety. He emphadata-sized that the government is committed to providing the police force with improved facilities, advanced infrastructure, and a conducive working environment to ensure efficient service delivery.

The newly inaugurated police stations are equipped with modern amenities, improved public reception areas, better facilities for police personnel, and enhanced security features. These stations are expected to reduce response times, improve accessibility for the public, and strengthen crime prevention and investigation capabilities.

Chief minister stalin highlighted that the investment of ₹43.91 crore reflects the government’s focus on strengthening grassroots-level policing and ensuring that citizens feel safe and secure. He added that upgrading police infrastructure is a key component of the Dravidian Model of governance, which prioritizes public welfare, justice, and safety.

Senior police officials and government representatives attended the inauguration ceremony. The chief minister reiterated that the state government will continue to modernize the police force through infrastructure development, training, and technological upgrades to meet contemporary challenges.

The inauguration of the nine new police stations marks a significant step toward enhancing law and order and reinforcing public trust in the police system across tamil Nadu.
