The actor vijay deverakonda made the stunning admission that he used to be "very afraid" of women and couldn't bear to look at them or interact with them. When Deverakonda was asked to share two truths and one lie about himself during an interview with bollywood Hungama, he responded, "I was terribly afraid of ladies until I was about 18 years old."

Added him: "I lacked the courage to engage in conversation with a woman or even look her in the eye. That is one truth, then." "I believed that women were a distinct species because I attended a boys-only boarding school as a child. They appeared to be a different species. You're all really attractive, so it's difficult."

Due to the excitement generated by this pan-Indian film, Liger was one of vijay deverakonda and ananya Panday's most eagerly anticipated movies. However, with Vijay's support for Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha and the fact that the movie was co-produced by karan johar, a boycott movement for the movie started. Many industry insiders believed that the movie would take off, as south star flicks typically do exceptionally well at the box office. The classic examples include Pushpa, kgf 2, and RRR. Liger, however, underperformed at the box office and didn't have the same impact as these movies.
