Emergency: mahima Chaudhary will play the role of Pupul Jayakar in the film 'Emergency', first look revealed

Veteran actor mahima Chaudhary has been entered in kangana Ranaut's much-awaited film 'Emergency'. kangana has given this information by sharing the first look of mahima in the film. mahima will be seen playing the role of indian cultural activist and writer Pupul Jayakar in the film. Let us tell you that Pupul Jayakar was very close to the Gandhi-Nehru family, and was one of the friends of former prime minister Indira Gandhi.


Jayakar was born in Etawah in the United Provinces (later known as Uttar Pradesh) in 1915. His father was a liberal intellectual and a senior officer in the indian Civil Service. Jayakar was an indian cultural activist and writer, known for her work on the revival of traditional and rural arts, handlooms, and handicrafts in post-independence India. His most famous ones are J Krishnamurthy: A Biography (1988) and Indira Gandhi: An Intimate Biography (1992).
