DMK Introduces Women Reservation Bill Without Delimitation – BJP Suddenly Trapped in the Web They Spun

SIBY JEYYA
BJP spent months screaming that the india alliance was “anti-women” because they wouldn’t pass the Women’s Reservation Bill.

DMK just walked into parliament and dropped the ultimate mic drop.

They introduced a fresh private member’s bill for 33% women’s reservation – exactly what the bjp claimed to want – but without linking it to the controversial delimitation exercise. No census drama, no seat reshuffling, no north-south politics. Just the bill, clean and ready.

Then came the savage challenge: “If you are not anti-women, then pass this.”

Boom. bjp is now caught in the very net they spent years weaving. For years, they used the women’s bill as a political weapon to paint the opposition as regressive. Now the opposition has handed them the same weapon – minus the conditions the bjp itself attached – and dared them to use it.

The hypocrisy is deliciously exposed. bjp can’t cry “anti-women” anymore without looking ridiculous. They either pass the bill immediately and prove DMK right, or they stall again and admit the delimitation link was never about women – it was always about power and numbers.

This isn’t clever politics. This is the bjp getting hoisted with its own petard in real time.

The web they spun is now choking them. And tamil Nadu – along with the rest of the country – is watching the show with popcorn in hand.
