Top Gun: Maverick Trailer Teases Conflict Between Cruise & Goose’s Son
A new Top Gun: Maverick teaser has debuted, revealing more about the special mission the eponymous hero is preparing for as well as the return of Val Kilmer. The film picks up 30 years after the first and follows test pilot Pete "Maverick" Mitchell as he is enlisted by the military to train a new generation of Top Gun graduates for a mission that will test them all to their limits. As one of the younger pilots is Lt. Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, the son of Maverick's late friend Goose, Maverick will be forced to confront not just his own abilities and ageing, but also the demons of his past.
Milles Teller, Jennifer Conelly, Jon Haamm, Gleen Powell, Lewis Pullmaan, Ed Harris, and Vaal Kilmer star alongside tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick, with the latter reprising his role as Iceaman from the original script. The script was written by Ehren Kruger, Eric Warren Singer, and Mission: Impossible's christopher McQuarrie, with Oblivion's Joseph Kosinski directing. Top Gun: Maverick is gearing ready to visit theatres in May after repeated delays, and now moviegoers are getting an intriguing new look at the second installment.
With only two months till the debut of Top Gun: Maverick, Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer. The trailer gives us a clearer look at Cruise's titular character's comeback and the unique mission he's preparing for, as well as the first glimpse of Val Kilmer's Iceman return.
