We're sure you've seen Pushpa: The Rise, starring allu arjun and rashmika Mandanna. We're quite sure you're looping Samantha's Oo Antava, Srivalli, or Saami Saami. Do you make instagram reels as well? You must be, right? Besides these tunes, one of Allu Arjun's movements has become a worldwide hit. You know, scratching your chin or goatee. From ravindra jadeja to David Warner, everybody is doing it.
But what if we told you that it was sai pallavi, not allu arjun, who did it first, in Rowdy Baby, a track she co-wrote with Dhanush? Yes, we have evidence. Allu Arjun's style is one of our favourites. Not just in Pushpa: The Rise, either. We've adored him since arya and even more so since arya 2. He's the epitome of cool. Unsurprisingly, we saw such fantastic moves in pushpa as well. The beard-rub mannerism sticks out in particular. allu arjun recently confessed in a conversation that he just did it for a certain portion of a song they were filming.
Filmmaker sukumar was so taken with the mannerism that he told allu arjun to make it one of the character's qualities. We think it was a wise decision, given how popular it got. Sorry to bust your, director Sukumar's, and Allu Arjun's (oops) bubbles, but sai pallavi did it first in Rowdy Baby, a track she co-wrote with Dhanush. Rowdy Baby is a musical from the 2018 film Maari 2 that became a chartbuster, similar to today's Oo Antava. You might not have seen the movie, but you've undoubtedly heard the music, right? dhanush and sai pallavi perform electrifying dancing movements that make it tough not to join in. Now, we're not debating who did it better; instead, we're debating who did it first. This is where we put our argument to rest.
